Abstract:

One of the most important problems in power markets is defining appropriate rates of each hour to reduce power consumption at peak hours. In this paper, linear TOU program is used to define prices in three section. ELNS of the system set by market operator is incorporated in a stochastic model to obtain final rates of hours and to evaluate reliability of the power system in each hour.

The proposed method is tested over the IEEE 24-bus test system.
